Globetrotting

This term our topic is GLOBETROTTING. We are going to be starting in Wales, learning about Welsh culture and heritage. We will be exploring the uniqueness and what is special about our home.

We will then be moving on to explore lots of different cultures from around the world. This includes Japan, Italy and South America. We will learn about different foods, music, languages and national dress.

We will also be doing lots of Outdoor Learning each week so please make sure the children are dressed appropriately.

This is the Year 3 classroom and outdoor area. We like to make sure that our learning areas are fun, clam and inviting!

Every Friday we visit the Wellbeing Pod. This is a calm space where we talk about different emotions and have a break from the busy day in the classroom. It is a lovely space and their are lots of toys, books and comfy areas to relax. It has been a great way to end the week.

We have started to learn about the Welsh artist, Gayle Rogers. She is famous for bright and colourful painting of Welsh landmarks. We have been practicing different techniques and now we are ready to start our own pieces of art. We can’t wait to show you when they have been completed.
